Young Tower Hamlets believes that young people should have a real say in the decisions that affect them. The Youth Ambassador Programme gives young people the opportunity to share their views, represent others, and help shape the future of youth services across the borough.

As a Youth Ambassador, you'll act as a link between young people and the staff who run services and activities. You'll gather ideas and feedback from other young people, help influence decisions about programmes and events, and make sure young people's voices are heard at youth centre, service and borough-wide level.

The programme is open to young people who use Young Tower Hamlets services and want to get more involved. You don't need previous experience - just a willingness to listen, share ideas and help make things better for others.

What you'll gain

As a Youth Ambassador, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Represent the views of young people in your youth centre and local community

• Help shape activities, projects and services

• Contribute to discussions and decision-making across Young Tower Hamlets

• Build confidence, leadership and communication skills

• Receive support, training and mentoring from staff

• Gain valuable experience that can support future education, volunteering and employment opportunities
