ποΈ What does the Young Mayor Team do?
The Young Mayor Team represents young people locally, regionally, and nationally, working with councillors, decision-makers, and the Youth Council to ensure the voice of young people in Tower Hamlets is heard.
They aim to:

What role does the Deputy Young Mayor play?
In 2023, the Young Mayor deputies took on roles that lead on the following areas:

When do elections take place? π€
The voting window open at 9am on Monday 1 December and closes at 5pm on Sunday 7 December.
The declaration of results will take place on Tuesday 9th December 2025 and the Young Mayor of Tower Hamlets will be announced.
What's the election process?
π³οΈ The Young Mayor election will be conducted digitally
π© Poll cards will be issued to all pupils and students via secondary schools and sixth forms in Tower Hamlets.
π± Poll cards will have QR codes which can be scanned using mobile devices, and these will take you to the platform to vote.
π₯ Who Can Vote?
π Anyone in year 7 -13 (aged 11–17) living, studying, or working in Tower Hamlets.
