To celebrate Youth Work Week this term, we will be highlighting and celebrating those who are currently volunteering with us at Half Moon, many of whom started their journey with the Next Steps programme. These volunteers will present what they are working on and share insights into their roles.

Our sessions always focus on themes of empowerment, youth voice, and positive futures. We emphasise the importance of young people having a voice in matters that affect them, such as education, community issues, and self-identity.

Using drama as a tool, we help young people develop skills in public speaking, advocacy, and leadership, allowing them to articulate their thoughts and feelings more effectively. The sessions also provide a safe space for open discussions on creating supportive environments where young people can express their opinions without judgment.
